EASY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES RECIPE
- 1 egg
- 100 g of sugar
- pinch of salt
- teaspoon of baking powder
- 100 g of melted butter
- instant cocoa/optional (depends how cocoa-brown you would like cookies to be)
- 250 g flour (approximately)
- 100g chopped chocolate
Start by whisking an egg. Add sugar and mix until you get nice foam. Add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of baking powder. Pour in the melted butter. Stir in any amount of cocoa (to the desired color, for example 3 tablespoons). Gradually mix in the flour to yield fairly thick dough (nice resign from the edge of the container). Finally, add chopped chocolate pieces (milk, dark, you can also use nuts or dry fruit) and mix again.
Extract the mass with a spoon (not full), use another spoon to help shape cookie lumps. Place them on a baking paper, but make sure to leave them a few centimeters apart from each other. Bake for about 15 minutes at 160 degrees.
Once baked, the cookies should be a little soft, but they harden when exposed to air. Once cooled place them in a smaller paper bag (any bookstore should have those) and you’re all set for a dinner party at your family or friend’s house.
